About This Journal
The Journal of Comparative Urban law and Policy is a publication of the Center for the Comparative Study of Metropolitan Growth at Georgia State University College of Law. The Center for the Comparative Study of Metropolitan Growth, founded in 2005, provides opportunities for professionals and students to work collaboratively around the world, shaping sustainable, equitable and resilient communities through research and legal and policy recommendations.
This journal will serve as a tool for lawyers, planners, policy-makers and scholars working in cities around the world grappling with a wide range of growth-related issues who are interested in learning more about how other cities tackle the same issues. This journal will feature articles on: equitable and sustainable development; taxation and infrastructure finance; social mix, affordable housing, and housing finance; historic preservation; climate change, environmental law, and greenspace preservation.
