Abstract
In February 2013, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the FTC’s position on state action immunity in its challenging of an acquisition by the hospital authority that owns Phoebe Putney Health System, its potential impact on the health care industry in Georgia and nationally, and the future of the state action immunity defense.
