Date
9-13-2012
Abstract
In the PPACA decision, the Supreme court ruled that Congress could not coerce states into expanding Medicaid under PPACA by withholding existing Medicaid funds. With uncertainty created by upcoming elections, invited panelists will set forth the issues regarding Georgia’s current Medicaid system and discuss how the Medicaid landscape may change in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision of making the expansion of Medicaid optional for states.
