Abstract
The Act amends the Code relating to motor vehicles by providing for notice of suspension of drivers' licenses by the court, changes in the definition of a habitual violator, suspension of the driver's license of a habitual violator by the court or the prosecutor, change in the period of time within which a habitual violator may apply for a probationary driver's license, change in the period for suspension of a driver's license for a person charged with or convicted of causing serious injury by a motor vehicle, and change in the number and method of point reductions for attending certain courses as well as designating additional courses for which point reductions will be awarded.
