Abstract
The Act requires physicians who are located outside the State of Georgia, but provide patient care inside the state via telemedicine, to be licensed to practice medicine in Georgia. The Act carves out limited exceptions, including a consultation at the request of a Georgia-licensed physician or where the consultation is provided at no charge.
