From Coverage to Care: Advancing Equity through Health Literacy
Abstract
October is Health Literacy Month. Navigating the health care system and health insurance can be overwhelming and confusing. For adults with low literacy, it can be impossible. Attendees learned about how one can answer questions and support clients, patients, and others using appropriate and health literate informational resources.
